Rayanne Williams

Rayanne has participated in PACRAO for 13 years. Her first conference was Sacramento 2005, and from that point, she was hooked on PACRAO. She has served PACRAO as the 2012 LAC chair in San Diego, Vice Chair for nominations and Elections, conference presenter, facilitator and now in the rotation of President.

Rayanne is currently the Registrar at San Diego State University. She began her career in student/academic affairs at the University of California, San Diego in the School of Medicine. She then returned to her alma mater working in the College of Extended Studies as Registrar and then moved to the Registrar position for the campus. She has worked in the field of student/academic affairs for 27 years.

Rayanne’s academic credentials have all been earned at San Diego State University where she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation Administration and a Masters of Arts in Education. She proudly calls herself an Aztec for life! Due to her recreation background, she strives to create an office that serves the campus to the best of its ability while having fun and enjoying the work. Mentoring others is also a passion whether it be another SDSU staff member, student or PACRAO colleague.

She is married to Chris Nichols who is a hockey sports writer and enjoys spending time with her dogs, Allie (corgi) and Buster (sheltie). Whenever she can, she is traveling and looking for new adventures.
