Heather has been a member of PACRAO and AACRAO since 1998 when she joined the Office of the Registrar at Oregon State University, and was a member of OrACRAO from 1998 - 2007 before moving to Idaho. Heather served as the OrACRAO secretary/treasurer 2002-2004, served on several OrACRAO conference planning teams and presented at several OrACRAO conferences. Heather has also served on the following PACRAO committees: PACRAO Program Committee in 2007 (Salt Lake City), PACRAO LAC 2008 (Portland), PACRAO Secretary 2011 - 2012, and PACRAO Program Chair 2013 (Paris - Las Vegas). Heather has also presented or facilitated at the majority of the PACRAO conferences and has presented at Sungard HE Summit, and facilitated at AACRAO.
Heather's passion is student success. "We need to work with our campus communities to ensure we are doing all we can to help our students succeed. You never know what connection will be the spark for a student." Heather believes that developing relations across campus begins with our professional organizations. "I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of my professional family. The connections I have made through PACRAO and AACRAO on a professional and personal level are priceless."
Heather currently serves as the University Registrar at the University of Idaho. Heather began her higher education career at Oregon State University as the Assistant Registrar. Before transitioning to a higher education career, Heather managed a trading desk for a national brokerage firm in Chicago, Illinois.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and her Masters of Science in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Her family resides in Wisconsin, Maine, and Texas (Houston area). Heather's hobbies include reading, quilting, knitting, and cheering for her PAC-12 friends, the Big Ten, and the Packers.
