President's Biography - Mary Neary Morley, 2009
Mary has been active in PACRAO since the 1980s, serving as a presenter, member
of local arrangement committees, conference registration chair, program committee
co-chair, and Vice President for 4-Year Schools. In 1998, Mary was presented with
PACRAO Honorary Membership. She has served as the PACRAO Business Partner
Coordinator and was the Vice Chair for AACRAO's Nominations and Elections Committee.
Presently Mary is the Registrar at California Institute of Technology in
Pasadena, California. She previously worked at California Polytechnic University at
Pomona, PeopleSoft, and Arizona State University. She has been involved in
admissions, international credential evaluations, academic advising, records and
registration, business process reengineering, electronic data interchange, and
software development.
In addition to her PACRAO activities, Mary has served as the AACRAO SPEEDE Chair
and Support Editor for the Volumes I and II of the AACRAO International Academic
Credentials Handbook, and as a member of the Small College Issues Committee,
AACRAO Technology Task Force, and the Admissions, Evaluation, and Placement
Committee. In 1998 she received the AACRAO Distinguished Service Award. Mary has
also been a member of the Post Secondary Electronic Standards Committee (PESC)
Steering Committee and the Immigration and Naturalization Services' SEVIS
Steering Committee. Mary holds a BS degree from Millersville University of
Pennsylvania and a MA degree from Arizona State University.
